To be the godparent of a young eaglet – could anything be more noble than that? That question was answered by a special Facebook application which allowed users to look at the nest of a fish eagle, predict when the eggs would hatch, and become the godfather or godmother of one of the eaglets if the prediction was precise. Winners could name the eaglets, and each user of the app could learn more about processes in Latvia’s environment.
